Sturgeon addresses Dublin Chamber Annual Dinner
Over 1,500 delegates gathered attended this year’s Dublin Chamber Annual Dinner, where keynote speaker First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon spoke about the importance of trade links between Scotland and Ireland.
Speaking at the event, which took place at the Convention Centre Dublin, Sturgeon said: “The main message I want to convey tonight is that there are major benefits – for businesses in both our countries – if we can build even closer connections together.”
Also speaking was Brendan Foster, President of Dublin Chamber, who launched the Chamber’s Vision for Dublin 2050 Report. The report outlines the hopes, wants and dreams that Dubliners have for the future and was produced from the findings of the Great Dublin Survey, which ran through the summer months and gathered over 20,000 responses.
