Photobooth Firm Announces Expansion Across Ireland
An international business that operates, sells and services instant service vending equipment has invested in its Irish operations for the next five years. Photo-Me Ireland has committed €5 million in an effort to streamline passport applications and support the growth of its photobooths and integrated biometric identification solutions across Ireland.
Part of the investment will go towards discoverability on search engines to increase footfall through Yext, a global digital knowledge management provider. Yext will build, optimise, maintain, and power local webpages for every photobooth and will power the 200-plus Photo-Me photobooth locations across Ireland.
Patrick Brennan, Managing Director Photo-Me UK & Ireland commented: “This is an important development for Photo-Me and for customers. We needed a real-time solution that we trusted to enable us to be in complete control of the public facts about each photobooth. Our goal is to have the most efficient and cost-effective system for online passport renewals, making it easy for customers to find and use our service, whilst ensuring maximum footfall for our business partners which include An Post, Centra, SuperValu, Tesco and Topaz to name a few. The Yext solution will enable us to do this.”
