Kildare Promoted at Chambers International Business Event
33 Resident Ambassadors to Ireland have attended the County Kildare Chamber Inaugural Ambassadors Luncheon in the K Club, Straffan. The event took place last Thursday, February 8 and was the first of its kind ever held in the country for any county.
The luncheon saw ambassadors representing countries from across the globe mixed with key business people from over 45 businesses and representative organisations. The Chamber promoted Kildare for investment and for companies looking to expand their offering to the countries represented.
Opening the proceedings, Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber stressed that Kildare is the location of choice for both existing and potential business enterprise. “Kildare has a track record of attracting and retaining global companies, which continue to expand their footprint, reflecting the region’s competitiveness and talent driven population. Kildare is home to one of the youngest and most highly educated workforces in Europe. Our workforce is highly skilled with enthusiastic people who drive business forward; our workforce is made up of some of the best home-grown and international talent.”
